The Mid-Chain Conference is a premier academic–industry summit dedicated to blockchain, decentralized systems, and economics.
The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue between computer scientists, cryptographers, economists, develpoers and other researchers and practitioners from both academia and industry, and to highlight innovative theoretical, empirical, and applied work.

With confirmed keynotes from Prof. Dahlia Malkhi and Prof. Julien Prat, limited spots to 150 of the brightest minds in the field, including leading faculty members, researchers, and builders.

The Mid-Chain 2026 Organizing Committee

Call For Papers

The Mid-Chain Conference on Blockchain and Decentralized Economics, to be held on March 16, 2026, at  Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (BGU), Israel, invites submissions for research presentations at the intersection of blockchain, decentralized systems, and economics.
 

We welcome contributions from computer science, economics, and related disciplines, including (but not limited to) decentralized finance (DeFi), blockchain protocols, decentralized markets, governance and DAOs, cryptographic mechanisms, empirical blockchain analysis, and applied research from industry.

The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue between academia and industry, and to highlight innovative theoretical, empirical, and applied work. Selected papers will be presented alongside keynote talks by Dahlia Malkhi and Julien Prat.
We also welcome students and industry participants to present their work or projects through a poster session. Submissions should be made using the same Call for Papers link.
